Bluebird

I painted Bluebird during my freshman year as an experiment that ended up teaching me some of the most important lessons in art. The background, made entirely of tiny dots of paint, pushed me to practice patience and precision. It was the first time I truly understood how focus and color could bring something simple to life.

9 x 12 in. Acrylic paint on canvas.
Used stippling to explore color layering, light, and texture through repetition and fine detail.
